We turned the bread crumbs into stuffing! 

Pumpkins pie: check!

You can't have Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie! And thanks to a box from Mom and a friend going to Canada we had all the ingredients! Including Dream Whip, a mix that makes an almost Cool Whip like substitute. Cause you can't have pumpkin pie without Cool Whip. Everyone knows that.

Fun bottle :)

My super fun bottle finally came :). It's to help me drink more water. It's really for kids, but whatever :).  The more water you drink the better your pet does. And you get plants and points and all kinds of stuff.

No more tiny bed!

The best thing about moving stuff up to the country house was getting a proper bed up there. There is a very nice one there, but it is about 110cm wide. For two people. Not so comfy. This will be so much better!

Zee crap eez gone

We got to move a whole bunch of crap out of the garage and up to the country house. Thanks to Boyfriend's new big huge truck :). All this means is that we still have a whole bunch of crap, but at least it's at the country house now! And out of the garage! But some of it was meant to go there. Like the bed. And the microwave. And. Ummm. Yeah. The rest is for when we get the cottage done! Yeah.

New bed

Kitties were fighting over the new bed that Boyfriend got for them. Then they decided that sharing and cuddling was better and decided to do that instead :).

South Park Santa?

The "julmust" (or Festive Swedish Drink) at IKEA has a Santa on it that looks like it came straight out of South Park. We giggled.

Grown up table

We got a grown up table and chairs for the dining room! We are having first Thanksgiving this year and like 12 people are invited. So we decided to finally get a proper dining table. I think we did pretty good :).

Do as you teach

We have been using this awesome worksheet made by my colleague to work with adjectives and short descriptions. Most of the kids are obsessed with Pokémon so it had gone over very well :). To show them how I wanted them to invent their own Pokémon I had to do one first. It was quite fun :).

Broke my toe

Yep. I broke it. While brushing my teeth. No joke. I was walking around the bed brushing my teeth and I caught my toe in my pj pants, somehow bent it under my foot and stepped on it. It went snap. The ER doctor was super impressed that I managed to do that. But x-rays confirmed. Snapped in two.

Citizen time baby!!!

It's finally happening. Am applying for my Swedish citizenship. Took way longer than it should have for various reasons. But now it is off! Wish me luck!

Post-Polo

....and this is what it looked like when I got up. You see, Polo has a thing for q- tips. And I had left some (unused of course) on the table next to my work of art. So of course Polo went for the q-tips, knocking some beads off in the process. I was able to fix it but Polo was not my favorite this morning!

Well, it turns out that my other sunburst mirror was too big for the place I wanted it in the new house. It also broke off one of the sticks on the way up here :(. So it has been retired and I am going to make a new, slightly smaller one. It should go well since I have already made one. Will keep you updated!

Bullet journal toolbox

I needed a good place to keep my ever growing pile of supplies for my bullet journal. I saw someone on Facebook or Pinterest that used a toolbox and thought "that would be handy". So off to the hardware store we went (we being the royal we of course. And the voices.  They are always along for the ride). I found this one that had nice turquoise details. It turned out to be perfect :). All ready to get started!!!

I finally got my bullet journal! It traveled here all the way from Germany. I have decided to start one. And Erika got me going too. I totally blame her :). I think it will be a good system for me though. If I can keep it up. Wish me luck!

We are not amused

Huckleberry gets a bath every week when his cage is cleaned. He doesn't seem to mind the bath part much but he hates the getting dry part.
