Zombie Family!

In the US a lot of people have these stickers on their cars, little people that show the family, mom dad kids etc. I really liked this version I found, with zombies, for my family :). I have the birds too of course, but they didn't have one for zombie birds :(. Discrimination I tell you.

Ear candling

I tried ear candling today. It was different. You basically light this tube of wax and muslin and it is supposed to loosen up the wax and other crap in your ears to relieve pressure and congestion. Not sure if it worked yet or not, but my ears do feel different and there was definitely crap in the tubes after we opened them up. It was gross, but am hoping that means it will help.

More shooting

Amanda and I got to go out shooting today with Billy and Craig. And since both Craig and Billy have lots and lots of guns we got to shoot all kinds of fun things today :).

Here is a fun type of shot, I guess it is something fizzy in the big glass and then Jagermeister in the shot glass. Then you drop the small one in the big one and down it. Amanda and Billy had two each :).

Good bye night at the pub

To say bye bye to everyone, I decided to be at the Irish Pub downtown here in Stillwater, and people could stop by for however long they wanted or could. It was great fun, quite a few people came from work and from my university days. It was great of everyone to drop by!

Someone missed history class...

American pizza!

Before we went to the pub yesterday, Mom and Amanda and Lori and Billy and me had pizza at Louie's, the restaurant just two doors down. It was super yummy pizza, lots of cheese and greasy pepperoni, just the way I like it!

Curls!

Mom is making my hair curly! Well, it turned out more wavy than curly in the end, but still, more bouncy than before. When I was a kid we tried to make my hair curly and it lasted like three days. I had hoped this time would be different, but at least we tried right Mom? :).

Official store kitty

There is a store in town called the Beadery, and they have three cats that live there at the store. They were so cute! I got to pet them and everything :). I really need to get home to my kitties now....

Yes, it does hurt...duh

The first question after showing up with a new tattoo is always, "Did it hurt?". Yes, it fucking hurt, there are several needles digging into your skin at the same time! Although, there are levels of hurt as I found out this time, cause I did two tattoos in two places in one sitting. The one on the wrist hurt more than the one on my back. By a lot. And Fred was about ten times the size of the moon and stars. But I am glad now I am out of wrists, cause man alive that does sting a smidge! Luckily Lori had me to hang onto for hers, but I had to rest my forehead on my hands for Fred, so no joy there. She got to return the favor during the moon and stars though! Right Lori? Sorry bout the broken hand.... ;)

Huge grass fire

Because it is so hot and dry outside this summer, there have been many grass fires around the state. Craig said he was re-routed twice on the way back from Oklahoma City cause of fires, and today we saw this one on the way back from Tulsa. It was huge, this picture only shows a part of it. Grass fires are very dangerous and scary, and this time of year, they are usually started by some idiot throwing a cigarette or a glass bottle out of their window. Oklahoma has had a burn ban pretty much since spring, and guess what people? There is a reason for it! So please be careful what you leave behind and what you do this summer.

This is a sweet potato that looks like a baked potato, and those things on top? Those are marshmellows. Yep. Blek! People eat weird shit around here....

My version of "Mom" with a heart around it

I wanted a tattoo with a moon and stars because ever since I can remember, whenever we had to be away from my mom, she told us to look at the moon, cause you can see it from everywhere, and she would be looking too. I wanted the tattoo in a spot that I could see whenever I wanted too. Mom is going to get the same one on her wrist too. The first picture is a bit funny cause Kris stretched out my wrist to get it on there, and stretched out it kind of looked like a fortune cookie, or at least that was what his colleague said. And Kris had a pen to fill in some shading, he was trying to convince me to have some on the moon, and so he drew a bit around it to make it look like a fortune cookie. Luckily that part wasn't permanent :). So now I have my "Mom" tattoo, but not the usual cheesy biker one!

Fred the Dragon

Fred is my new tattoo :). Not sure why he didn't get a manly Viking name, but whatever! He is my Celtic dragon that I really, really like and wanted to have somewhere on me. He is a reminder that the only person that can really destroy me is myself. He is done in all black, but he looks a bit purple just now cause that is the color of the stencils Kris uses. Will put up another picture when he is a bit more healed up and an even more pretty critter :).

Lori's tattoos

Lori got her tattoos today, and they turned out great! One devil and one angel. And Kris did a great job with them! Lori had found an angel she liked, especially the twirling the halo on her finger. But devils don't have halos to twirl, so Kris made her twirl the end of her tail around her finger so that the two had the same theme. Very cool! And he totally re-did the angel from the picture and it was way cooler! Lori says that they are her "conscience, pin-up style" ;).

Now I have seen it all

This is a prodect that is meant to give you J Lo's ass apparently. It adds padding to your butt in the form of special under drawers with some kind of stuff in them. Why? That was all I could think was, why?

Wal-mart kitty

This poor kitty was dumped in the parking lot at work, we are pretty sure. One of my co-workers found it trying to get in the doors and then two other cp-workiers adopted it. Am so glad the little one got a home! Plus I got to cuddle with it lots before the night was over :). Miss my own little babies :(.

New look

Lori put some blonde highlights in my hair today. We think it turned out pretty well :). Plus it was fun cause I have only done something nuts to my hair once before, dying it red, so it was fun to make a change :).

You know you are in the US when...

There are hundreds of warning stickers on the baler just to make sure people can't sue the company when they do something idiotic. This is only the front too, there are more on the sides!
