We are not amused

Well, they finished painting my bedroom. I was in Stockholm all weekend so I didn't really see it until Monday. And it was so not turquoise. Not even a little. Did not look like the paint chip at all. Since they pretty much only do the whole painting bit every 12 years for my apartment I kind of had to take matters into my own hands if I didn't want to live with weird swampy green walls. So I did. I spent all evening making the walls turquoise. The color on the left. Not green weirdness. The color on the right. Now it is all pretty. I probably could have let it go but no. I like happy alive colors. Not weird swampy colors.

It's like camp

Not really. Since they are painting my bedroom, I am currently on the floor in my living room. I am trying to tell myself it is an adventure. However, my 32 year old ass misses not having to heave myself up from what is basically floor level every time I have to pee. But at least I have my mattress. And I am surrounded by my books. Are they not pretty? BTWs, the cats are confused as all hell.

Crap crap crap and more crap

Well I did it. I emptied the bedroom. I say this like it is an accomplishment but it's really not. I didn't get rid of any crap. I just moved it. To the other room. Albeit in an organized fashion. But still. Once they have done painting I have big plans for those piles of crap. Oh yes, big plans. Key word being plans...not the same as actions....yeah....

So so so tiny!!!

And so so so cute!!! I got to meet the new baby Mia today :). She is so small! I got to give her presents which was fun, but also ensures my position as favorite auntie :).

Random Markus on the train

On the way back from Stockholm I got up for a bathroom break, turn around, and there is Markus! Weird! But it was fun to have someone to sit with the rest of the way :).

Bunny!!!

The one who makes me smile alot is also super cute and nice :). We were watching a movie and he asked if he could get me anything. So I said "Yes please, some Coke and some snacks?" And he said "Anything else?" So I said "Yes, a bunny rabbit please" :). I can be a bit of a smart ass at times :). And when he was in the kitchen he got Coke, snacks, and a cute little bunny rabbit :). Awwww :).

Sekhmet loves Siri's carrier. She spent all four days sleeping in it. Siri loves Bastet's look out spot in the bedroom. Bastet started sleeping in Siri's favorite box. It was like musical kitty territories around here.

Fun game

The one who makes me smile alot had this fun game that we tried at his place. It was about places around the world and kind of like Trivial Pursuit. You had to put the picture card in the right place matching the picture. Then you answered different questions about the place in various ways. It was very fun :).

Christmas roses :)

I got flowers for Christmas :). The following may sound like a pity party but I swear it's not! Christmas this year was kind of lonely. It was just me and the kitties. And due to a few factors, presents from home delayed and so on, I didn't have presents to open either. I did wrap presents though, which is almost as fun :). Anyway, the one who makes me smile alot found this out and I woke up to a flower delivery :). And they were even wrapped up like a present to open! How thoughtful and nice and wonderful was that?!? Big smiles :) :) :).

Outside the toy store in Stockholm there was a Darth Vader all built in Legos. So cool :).

Seriously?

In Stockholm we bought cards to play Hand and Foot. They were wrapped up like they contained toxic waste, biological waste, government secrets, and explosives! First an outer package, then plastic, second outer (iner?!?) package, then more plastic, then finally cards!!!
