I spy

With my little eye. A Polo tail! Polo loves moving. So many boxes! We have actually stacked a few empty ones and trapped her in the bottom one cause she was hiding. Then she toppled them over and jumped out. Scared the crap out of us!

Knock knock

Polo wanted to go back in after a bit. She was very interested in the two kitties inside. She is curious about everything!

Outside adventure

We tried out the new harnesses on the kitties. Polo and Bastet had no problems. Mama Cat got away for a while...
Magnus put her down to attach the leash and she took off! I think she was freaked out by the harness a bit. Poor girl :(. But luckily we got her back in. She is fast! But she went for the door a couple times so we just waited till she tried the door and got her in. Was so scared she would really run off. Next time, leash first then door.

Cute napping

Mama Cat has the cutest pose ever while napping. Look at all her paws tucked up :).

Conehead

Gizmo does better in the cone. The little Houdini got out of her body suit so we can only have that when we watch her. Although she got out of her cone the first day too. It had a gauze tie. We attached it with her collar and it seemed to work better. Maybe tomorrow the vet will let her take it off. Wish her luck!

Gizmo's turn

Well it was Gizmo's turn to get fixed. She has the cone of shame as well, but we alternate with the body suit. She really does not like either one. But now she is in the club with our other babies :).

Best invention

As far as public toilets go, this is the best thing so far. Before you sit down you push a button and it re-covers the seat with plastic. No need to hover!

Could not resist

Yep. Went back to Petco for the Yoda ears and the Leia buns. As my friend Erika put it, "The crazy is strong in this one".

I have good stuff

Maggie spent the last two nights on my suitcase. I think she wanted to come with me :). She also got to roll around on my sweaty shoes :).

Eskimo Joe's

For my last night we went to dinner at Eskimo Joe's. I got my pickles and ranch and my cheesy fries :).

Maggie

This is my mom's kitty, Maggie. She got a paper bag and a catnip toy. She likes to sleep in the bag :). She rubbed a bit on the toy, but I guess she's not much of a toy kitty. Smelly work shoes are wonderful though. She sticks her whole head into those lol.

Cat lady plus super geek

Equals many Star Wars cat toys at Petco :). I think the only thing left was the collars and that's because my babies already have matching Hello Kitty ones :).

Strawberries

Mom made the scariest turn ever to get these strawberries. She saw the sign and took the turn without barely touching the brakes! Saw the little light tunnel thing for a second or two there, being the passenger. But they were really good :).

Best picnic

My aunt made the best picnic ever for my grandma's birthday field trip. I hate my gastric bypass sometimes, I could have stuffed way more in my face otherwise!

Kite flying, crazy style

We visited a nursery with my mom, aunts and my grandma for her birthday. It was really pretty, more like a park really. My aunt brought a picnic and then we drove Grandma around in the golf cart to see all the flowers. Once we ate, someone commented that it would be a great place to fly a kite. Mom happens to keep kites in her trunk, as we all do. So we tried it. It wasn't windy enough to get the kite up though until we started flying it from the golf cart :). Mom and I sat on the back and she flew the kite. I documented it ;).

Guest room

Mom knows how to decorate a guest room with awesome books :).

Fun sign

We drove through Peculiar, Missouri today. This was at the store we stopped at. I thought it was quite fun :).

After watching the film, The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, I wanted to see the weird drink in real life. And now I have! Kinda cool in a total geek way I guess :).

Ill gotten gains

I used my evil gambling money to buy a cute kitty I saw at the giftshop :).

Just like Bond, James Bond

Mom and I stayed at a casino today. We have never been to one so we thought, why not? There is hotel, food, and fun machines to play with! We are so stopping at casinos now when we drive up to Minnesota. Way better than hotels. And cheaper! We had to find a place to stay because it took most of the day just to get out of Minnesota. Going home day after 4th of July was not a good move maybe. But we have had fun, so good place to stop :). The machines are actually a bit boring but the pictures are pretty and I won $14.60!

Babe the Blue Ox

We stopped in Brainerd to see the other famous Paul Bunyan statue. But there was only Babe, his blue ox. Not sure what happened to Paul. In the movie Fargo there is a statue of Paul but we couldn't find him. Very disappointing :(.

Strawberries

I found these in an antique store and couldn't resist. They were so pretty! 4 placemats and 4 napkins. In perfect condition too.

New phone

Boyfriend will be happy to know I found a tasteful new phone for our house :). Do you think he will like it?

Fun kitty quilt

There was a local gallery that had all kinds of handcrafts from painting to quilting to jewelry. This little kitty quilt was not so easy to resist....

New nails

Little blue hearts this time. Grandma picked it out :).

Sluggo the Snail

Mom got it for Boyfriend since we have a small snail problem in our yard. His name is Sluggo and he will be king of snails.

More kittens!

They both wanted cuddles. Then I brushed a ton of hair off the orange one. Someone is shedding :).

Tempting

It was so tempting to ride this. But we were already getting funny looks so we opted for no.

Paul makes an appearance

As you can from the sign and the welcoming mat, Paul should be around. But no joy.

Another Swedish store

This one had fun folks out in front and a big honking Dala horse. Felt just like home.

Kitties!

I was a bit "unfaithful" to my own babies when I was outside with my grandma and grandpa's super cute outdoor kitties. They were so cuddly, how could I resist!?!
