Yucky

No offense to my friend who works at the fish counter of course, but I find it disturbing that most of the things behind the glass were staring at me. Blek! I was asking some questions for roommate about seafood. Otherwise, unless I'm saying hi to the aforementioned friend (hello!), I tend to avoid the fish counter. And yes, for the record, I'm the kind of meat eater that is perfectly content to pretend ground beef just magically comes from the grocery store. If there were iced cow eyes staring at me though, I couldn't eat beef either. But thank goodness, no cow eyes. Safe.

Now we're talkin'

I've decided to start playing the clarinet again. I already asked mom if she could check out the cost of getting it playable again. So I was looking around on the internet to get ideas of cost and I found a pink clarinet! I so want one now! Pink! And I bet I could put a Hello Kitty sticker on there somewhere...

New project

As some of you know I have been getting into vintage clothing a bit lately, anticipating my new self :). A few months ago I found some box purses and bought them. Two were in great shape but this one needed some saving. But only as far as the color. The purse itself was not damaged or anything. It is a wood purse covered in lace and the lace had yellowed with age and there were a few other spots. I am now in the process of making it white and wonderful again so wish me luck!

It was an orchid!

It really was an orchid :) I wasn't sure there for a while. And my special light bulbs for making my babies bloom again :)

Furry traitors

When I get home from my Saturday errands were there any cats to greet me at the door? No! That's right, because both my babies were lounging on roommate's bed instead! They wouldn't even get up to say hi to mummy :(. Let's see who cuddles them this evening! Not me, no siree Bob! (I like to talk big here, but we all know I will give in and cuddle anyway, they're just too cute to resist :) But officially I'm mad!)

I love Lund :). Doing errands on a Saturday in town and what do I see? Two people walking across the square in a pink plastic box. Yep. Like I said, I love Lund :).

What do you mean I'm not a zebra finch?

I think the doves might get a bit confused being the lone big giant birds in a cage full of tiny pippisar. But its so cute when they perch next to each other :). I've already nick named the dove "The Enforcer" because he makes sure the doves stay on their side of the perch, leaving room for my pippisar :).

Just me and my homies

Had to get food for my birds so I "had" to stop at the critter store on my way home from work. My little pippisar have gotten two new roommates, white doves. They all seemed happy and their noses have really darkened to almost red. My babies are soon not babies anymore, sniff sniff :(.

This is how I feel about downloading!

I don't have the guts to download anything myself (am convinced I will get caught) but I sure understand the people that do! Had to sit through that damn commercial on every dvd in my new How I met Your Mother box. It sucked!

Vampire manga

As we all know, Melinda is a bit obsessed with vampires.  I found out that there are quite a few manga series that are about vampires. I thought I would give them a try. We see how it goes :)

Proper utensils

Now that I am joining the Tolkien society I need the proper clothes and the proper utensils. I want to collect everything I need for the big event next spring in Bokskogen. I have to wait a bit with the clothes because I know I will be getting smaller. But in the meantime I can focus on utensils :) 

Best advent calendar ever!

Tuffe and I were shopping at the big ICA (see previous entry about naughty dish brush) and we found the best advent calendar ever :). It is Hello Kitty but instead of chocolate it has a little toy in each one. I must have made the cute puppy face cause Tuffe bought it for me :). Thank you Tuffe! But I promised I wouldn't open any till it was time. Waiting sucks :(.

Glad mommy is home?

I'm not so sure. My kitties seemed happy to see me at first but when I went to go to bed they were glaring at me! I think I will now have to pay for leaving them at home these past few days. And we all know how good cats are at holding grudges...

Head dress

Tuffe has made a head dress for me. And it is so pretty!!! I don't know how she does it but I wish I could too :). I just need to make a great dress to go with it now :). Thank you Tuffe for the super pretty head dress!!!

Here is a picture of a dress I am going to make. I think I will make it in purple with a different color over dress. Maybe another purple or silver. It's so exciting :)

We all scream for ice cream! Tuffe and Rolf had 12 kinds of ice cream. It is a fun place to visit :)

Welcome to Hell

This was a subway stop in Stockholm. Tuffe said its supposed to be like going down into Hell. I thought it kind of looked like a giant throat.

Super long escalator

It makes sense that the mouth of Hell subway stop would boast a super long escalator to make the ride down into Hell even more uncomfy :)

Naughty dish brush

Tuffe and I were at the biggest ICA ever and I found the naughtiest dish brush ever. Hello dildo handle! Just for the record we did not buy one ;)

Fall is here

Jens and I were out in Skrylle walking and all the leaves were turning. It was very pretty :).
