Pelle went to his new home today. His tail was much better and he finished all his medicines. His new family was very excited to meet him and I think he will be happy there :). He even has a new kitty friend to play with. Way less stressful than 4 kitty friends at my house....
He still needs his cone a bit longer though, he has a last bit that is scabbed over that is still healing, but soon he will be cone free :). I will miss him, he is a very cuddly and cute kitty!
Do not stack packed boxes next to the bed when said boxes have super creepy Jason Freddie Slasher Killer hockey mask on the side. Scared myself to death. Moving them now. Temporarily blocked with extra pillow.
Sometimes cats amaze me. How can they possibly be comfy like that?!? But he seems to like it. He sleeps for whole Bones episodes this way lol.
Pelle has been out and about the apartment for a couple days now. He seems to be quite comfy. Here he is waking up from a nap on the couch :).
A friend has a real honest to goodness Poloroid. He brought it to a Tolkien banquet and took lots of fun pictures. This is me going home in my fun hat slash scarf :).
Gizmo and Bastet were curious about the visiting kitty too. After a few days they got up the courage to say hello as well :). Bastet was pissed that he was in her spot though lol.
Polo was curious about Pelle. But she started far away. Then a bit closer. A bit more. Just a tiny bit more. Hello Pelle!
Dollhouse obsession continues. I mostly only have the furniture that is made for my dollhouse, the actual Lundby furniture. But since I am obsessed with design I had to get these chairs that are made in the Lundby scale. I can never afford the real ones so this was the next best thing :).
Poor kitty was really hurt so I am helping him for a couple weeks. It was the cat group I volunteer for that needed a home quite quick, and it was here in Lund he was wondering about. The poor guy was wondering around missing most of his tail, and what was left was in awful shape :(. He had to get it amputated, but he is doing OK now. He has a family waiting for him as soon as he is better, but so far he will be here until he heals. He is very cuddly and loves being brushed :). I call him Pelle. There is a character called Pelle Svanslös here in Sweden that is a cat. It seemed fitting now that poor guy is also tail-less :(.
My personal bubble should extend to the car. I mean jeez could they have gotten any closer?!?
In honor of the new house I got Boyfriend an Easter Egg full of garden stuff. Seeds and gloves and very manly gardening gloves with flowers on them :).
Found a book on restoring old wooden houses. We will be fixing up the cottage on our property and it's really old. 1700's old!!!! So hopefully this will come in handy :). I will also be taking classes about restoring old buildings too. They offer them at museums and there is a building group just for these old wood houses. Am so excited!!!
