Chinese Oreos

I was at Daniel's house and he let me try Oreos from China. It was cool, lemon and orange creme instead of the usual white stuff. Apparently there are lots of flavors and Oreos are really popular there. Daniel looked it up and Oreos sell more there than in the US even! Bit shocking, but cool. I wonder what other flavors they have? Oh Daniel....

An escapee!

One of the meatballs tried to make a run for it! Splat. Lol :).

Check out my balls :)

Today was meatball day! My roommate had not had "real" meatballs yet so we decided to have meatball day and combined it with movie night. I got Jens' mom's recipe and thought, piece of cake. Nope. Meatballs are complicated little fuckers! Luckily it was Markus and Erika to the rescue! Capes and tights included :). So I didn't make any meatballs, but I sure learned how for next time! And the coolest trick was boiling them first so they stayed round. I never knew that! So I bow to the meatball masters and next time I can do it :).

No purple hairs :(

I tried doing purple highlights. With help of friend cause the funny hat was hard to do alone...
But no purple. Hairs just kind of got darker. Very sad :(.

Retro magazine

Yippee! A whole magazine about one of my decorating obsessions!

Bit Emo today

I was feeling a bit Emo today. But more the happy kind. My rainbow bracelets make me happy :). And the kids like the skeleton gloves!

Amen!

This was in one of my decorating magazines. I must say I totally agree :). The magazine was saying books in the home are trendy again. I must have missed the part where they weren't trendy....oops :).

Marimekko collection grows

I love Marimekko :). If I could I would probably have a huge collection. But I am mostly able to control myself :). But I couldn't resist the pink flowers. Plus it was in the sale bin on my birthday last month. It's like the universe was trying to tell me something right?

Lego!

A work people told us that he and his son cleaned out the huge box of Legos the son has. The work people described very happily and enthusiastically how fun it was to "clean out" the Lego box. Apparently "clean out" means "play with and build stuff" :).
After this fun story I felt the need to play with Legos! I have all kinds of childish crap like Mr. Potato Head and Twilight Barbies and an Etch a Sketch. But no Legos! Well I fixed that little problem let me tell you! So much fun now :).
