It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...?

At Kulturens Julstök both Helena and I were a bit confused about this particular display, work of art, lighting experiment...practical joke...? What and why were the the general musings about this little slice of weirdness. Poor tree :(

My kitties were confused by the rather strange location of this kitty that they normally see outside the patio door (third kitty is standing on the table out on the patio).

Hello Piggy...Bye Bye Piggy...

Helena and I went to the Julstök at Kulturen and of course the experience was not complete until we each got our very own ginger cookie with our names on it. We were the only grown ups in the line...but we didn't care :)



















Soon there will no more piggy left :(

But it is tasty :)

One Big Devil and his Little Devil Friend

I got the big devil for my Halloween/Moving In Party as a present. Great present by the way, for those who gave it to me, you know who you are :)

The other devil lives here.

But she has horns too, and evil devil behavior.

Halloween Party!!!

It was a great party! At one point we almost ran out of room for all the people. Always a good sign for the hostess :)

Lots of great costumes and great fun!

Baby Orchid!!!

The orchids like it so much here they are reproducing!

I have a baby orchid which is called a keiko. I haven't had the heart to separate it from its mommy yet :(

But soon I will have to put it in its own pot :(

I just hope it doesn't die!
