Yes, it does hurt...duh

The first question after showing up with a new tattoo is always, "Did it hurt?". Yes, it fucking hurt, there are several needles digging into your skin at the same time! Although, there are levels of hurt as I found out this time, cause I did two tattoos in two places in one sitting. The one on the wrist hurt more than the one on my back. By a lot. And Fred was about ten times the size of the moon and stars. But I am glad now I am out of wrists, cause man alive that does sting a smidge! Luckily Lori had me to hang onto for hers, but I had to rest my forehead on my hands for Fred, so no joy there. She got to return the favor during the moon and stars though! Right Lori? Sorry bout the broken hand.... ;)

My version of "Mom" with a heart around it

I wanted a tattoo with a moon and stars because ever since I can remember, whenever we had to be away from my mom, she told us to look at the moon, cause you can see it from everywhere, and she would be looking too. I wanted the tattoo in a spot that I could see whenever I wanted too. Mom is going to get the same one on her wrist too. The first picture is a bit funny cause Kris stretched out my wrist to get it on there, and stretched out it kind of looked like a fortune cookie, or at least that was what his colleague said. And Kris had a pen to fill in some shading, he was trying to convince me to have some on the moon, and so he drew a bit around it to make it look like a fortune cookie. Luckily that part wasn't permanent :). So now I have my "Mom" tattoo, but not the usual cheesy biker one!

Fred the Dragon

Fred is my new tattoo :). Not sure why he didn't get a manly Viking name, but whatever! He is my Celtic dragon that I really, really like and wanted to have somewhere on me. He is a reminder that the only person that can really destroy me is myself. He is done in all black, but he looks a bit purple just now cause that is the color of the stencils Kris uses. Will put up another picture when he is a bit more healed up and an even more pretty critter :).

Lori's tattoos

Lori got her tattoos today, and they turned out great! One devil and one angel. And Kris did a great job with them! Lori had found an angel she liked, especially the twirling the halo on her finger. But devils don't have halos to twirl, so Kris made her twirl the end of her tail around her finger so that the two had the same theme. Very cool! And he totally re-did the angel from the picture and it was way cooler! Lori says that they are her "conscience, pin-up style" ;).
