We got a side door put in the garage. It was a bit strange that there was not one already, but that's OK, all fixed now :).

It finally happened!!!

The first Polo Bear lap cuddle since kitten hood. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Mama Cat was there first, she cuddles all the time. Polo joined her and then Mama Cat left. And Polo stayed!!!! For like 30 minutes!!!!! There is cuddle hope for Polo :). Am hoping it rubs off on Gizmo too.....

Project Dahlia

I planted two pots with dahlias today. One with pink and purple and one with yellow and orange. I hope it works! I did pots because you have to take them in during winter. If you have them in the garden you have to dig them up every winter and keep them inside. This way I can just take in the pots!

Project Lids

We got the lids on my raised beds today. Despite the fact that it was freezing cold outside. Not summer yet I can promise you.

Nap time cuddles

I have planted my carrot seeds! I have two raised garden beds. One for carrots and one for strawberries. We see how it goes!

We finally got the numbers up on our house. We are the only ones with our address but people seem to get lost a lot anyway. Hopefully this helps!

Gizmo is really enjoying the sun in the top level of the cat tree. She spreads out and soaks up sun for hours at a time. And of course is super cute while doing it :).

Project Running Toilet

Our toilet started running constantly when we had gone to bed. It's always before bed, right when you want to sleep. I mean really?!? So up we go. Can't fix it. Turn off the water. Will fix in morning. Morning came (thank gods for the second bathroom, could have been bad). So we Googled and took apart the thingies. And it needed a new rubber gasket. So we got one. Wrong one. Cleaned old one and put it back. Miracle. House owner pride level: epic.

Project Strawberry

I am starting two raised beds. Here is the paint in progress shot. They come untreated so I had to paint them with a special paint for outdoors. One will be all strawberries, the other will have carrots and something else. Not sure what yet. We shall see :).

Captured!

I caught a Mama Cat and a Huckleberry. I got a big fence thing so he can basically run around the whole room but without getting stuck under furniture and stuff. The kitties were all in there too hoping to cuddle with Huckleberry. He had no such plans so said kitties were promptly ignored.

Took the plunge

Well I decided that I'm not keeping any magazines anymore. I never look at them again so they are all going to the magazine farm to live happy ever after. Otherwise known as the recycling bin.
