First one

This is my first ever fortune cookie in Sweden. I have never gotten one in the whole 12 years I have lived here. But the Asian place in Uppsala has them. Kinda fun :).

When will Daddy be home?

Cuddles!

Mama Cat and Gizmo cuddling for a nap. They don't cuddle often and Mama Cat has been hissing at Gizmo, so this was nice to see :).

New bed

Polo found a new bed on Boyfriend's suitcase.

Strange reflection

At Boyfriend's parents there can appear strange reflections in the window of the door. It looks like the forest is growing out of trees in the sky. Very cool.

First sauna!

Today we are testing the sauna for the first time. Exciting :).

Ready for plants

We got a plant screen for the big bathroom. It has 13 pots to put plants in :).

Mantle decorations

Polo is trying out her sexy "come hither" look on the mantle. Gizmo is chasing a fly.

Home owner adventures

Filling in the big gap at out driveway with more gravel. That we bought in Ikea bags from a weird place. But still. Now we can get out of the driveway without a running start :).

Walking in style

We have a lot of nature trails around here. Boyfriend and I are starting to walk them. In order to do that I needed walking shoes that weren't my very not waterproof Converse sneakers. These were my choice! Are they not wonderful? I remember when hiking boots came in 2 colors: brown and browner. Purple is so much better!

Pancakes!

With special syrup all the way from Minnesota :). I miss the choke cherry flavor. My grandma had trees with choke cherries and we made jelly from them. So yummy.

Still a Hello Kitty fan

Polo took a nap on my laptop sleeve. A Hello Kitty one of course :).

Not very elfy

I am an elf in the Tolkien group and I have all the pretty dresses and jewelry and even delicate elf ears made of wire. Very pretty. But this year was too cold to wear my usual shoes. So I was a Converse wearing elf :).

Queen of Hearts

My friend and I did this year's bar for Bokskogen. It is the 4 days in the forest with fellow Tolkien geeks. We had Fairy Tales as a theme and it seemed to go over very well :). We had a quiz, costume prize, coloring contest, and of course many fun drinks!
